Conference Program
The Slope Stability 2011 program will involve a select number of technical talks that will be presented in a single plenary session format. Highlighted features will be keynote addresses and state-of-the-art lectures on the challenges being faced in this new era of open pit mining where pit slopes are reaching heights of over 1,000m, as well as those being faced in the oil sands, the Canadian arctic (Diavik, Ekati, etc.), and B.C. coal mines.
